- Dale & DeVonne met, fell in love and married within 4 months and that was 35 years ago. We've had our ups and downs, thus the title of our blog. When a joyful moment comes, just reach out and allow yourself to feel every second of it. We have 4 children who are the light of our lives (just like most parents). Our three oldest are grown and our youngest is 14 going on 30 because he is surrounded by 2 adults all the time! DeVonne will be doing most of the writing on here and use this as a way to express the life lessons we've learned.She'll do it through pictures and words that come from the heart so here goes . . .
